7,767 owner-occupied homes, none of them far away

Three towns, 13,214 homes between them, and 7,767 of those are lived in by the people who own them. Every one of those households is inside a 37 minute drive of the shop, and most are inside 30. No other county we serve sits that close, which is why Bartow gets our short-notice work.

Built between 1990 and 2001, which makes it a first-deck county

Most Bartow houses went up between 1990 and 2001. Bartow decks are mostly originals reaching middle age, not replacements of replacements. Cartersville is the older end at 1990, Euharlee the middle at 1996 and Adairsville the newer end at 2001. What that puts in front of us is repair work on sound frames more often than complete rebuilds.

Adairsville, Cartersville and Euharlee

We're in Adairsville and Cartersville constantly, and we're in Euharlee just as readily. Euharlee is the small one, 1,283 owner-occupied homes, 22.5 road miles out from us. At 92.4 percent owner occupied it's about as settled as a place gets.

104 feet to 481 feet in the same county

The relief range across Bartow runs from 104 feet at Euharlee to 481 feet at Cartersville. That means the retaining wall conversation changes completely depending on which side of the county you're on. Euharlee lots need almost nothing structural. Cartersville lots frequently need a wall before anything else can be built.

The Etowah runs through all of it

The Etowah River runs through both Cartersville and Euharlee, and Pittman Lake sits inside Cartersville as well. Water on or near a lot is the clearest sign we'll end up screening a porch, not leaving it open, and away from water the reason is plain summer comfort. Euharlee Creek, Cooper Branch, Draw Creek and Gunn Creek set the drainage lines we have to work our patios and walkways around.

One big town and two small ones

Adairsville, Cartersville and Euharlee are all towns in their own right, one big and two small. That's a tidier mix than Cobb or Walker, and it means our fence work across the county divides cleanly between subdivision runs in Cartersville and longer, more open lines in Adairsville and Euharlee. The material comparison is on our fence company page, and the run lengths behind each are on the Cartersville fence page and the Adairsville fence page.

Ownership across the county

Owner-occupied share across the Bartow towns runs from 59.2 percent up to 92.4 percent, which is a high floor. We build more pergolas and patio covers per household in counties like that than in counties full of movers, because the person paying is the person sitting under it.

Getting on the Bartow schedule

Fire pit work goes in with the hardscape. Our finished work is on the gallery, the rest of the footprint is on the service areas page, and if you want something looked at, send us the details.

Do you serve Euharlee?

Yes. Euharlee is 22.5 road miles out, well inside our normal run, and we build decks, fences and walls there the same as we do in Adairsville.

Which part of Bartow needs retaining walls?

Mostly the Cartersville side, which runs 481 feet of grade. Euharlee, at 104 feet, is close to flat and rarely needs anything structural.
